Description:

Genomic DNA was extracted from freshly harvested Bovine Kidney (individual

donor) using solution-based method. This DNA is suitable for a variety of

applications including genomic library construction, amplification, digestion with

restriction endonucleases, and membrane hybridizations (Southern and dot/slot

blots)

Quality Control Test:

1. Purified genomic DNA was found to have a molecular weight greater than 50kb

as determined by EtBr stained agarose gel.

2. Purity was determined by spectrophotometry and the ratio of A260/A280 is >1.80.

3. DNA is completely digestible with EcoR1 or Hind III at 37oC.
